The last bit of snow melted on May 11th and now the blackflies are out followed by the mosquitos.
Soon it won't be too enjoyable outside but that doesn't stop tire testing. I'm very impressed how quiet these tires are.
the road noise even on our chip and tar roads is extremely quiet. They roll very smooth and with no vibrations whatsoever. I'm keeping track of mpgs so i'll report on that in the future. I haven't had any good opportunities to test hydroplaning yet but that time will come sooner or later.
I had some guys at work check out the tires and they all liked the looks of them. I also noticed these tires have a tire wear indicator different then the hakka tires, these read in percentage. thats a nice feature for those who don't have a tread depth gauge.
So far im loving these tires and i'm looking forward to continued testing this season. Later this week we have snow in the forecast but don't think it will stick to the roads. This would be interesting to test in them in snow though.
till next time be safe and enjoy the summer!
