I was finally able to get some good wet weather to drive the tires in. At highways speeds of 50-65 mph I carefully chose my spot to hit a few puddles and the tires performed excellent. I could barely feel that I was hitting water and I certainly did not feel any float or hydroplane. In dry conditions the tire continues to perform well. I find it more quiet than the Nokian Hakka R2 SUV tires I drove last year. I don't find it particularly any noisier than the Bridgestone Dueler HL 422 Ecopia all season tires I had on but the WRG3's are certainly more capable in all weather conditions.
