Yesterday, after surviving the ice storm, we got several inches of snow with sub-zero temperatures! Salting the roads is ineffective at those temps, so driving was a little dicey...for everyone else. I live at the bottom of a fairly steep hill. As I drove up the hill, I met with a long line of cars, behind 2 tractor trailers stuck on the hill. As cars were trying to turn around to go back down the hill, for an alternate route, I made it up the hill and passed the trucks with ZERO spinning or slipping. With my previous winter tires, I would have been among those seeking alternate routes, not with these, though. All I can say is bring on the snow!
