Ice rain came again last week leaving a thick layer of ice everywhere. I drove back home and I have to say that driving Hakkapeliitta R2 SUV felt way safer than walking on that ice. To get home there's a nice steep up hill sharp curve. For the first time I was wondering about the tires performance because of the neighbor’s comments about how bad and scary that entrance is. I had been planning beforehand the speed and angle to drive such a curve in a situation like this. Well, I drove through and I had again this incredible feeling that nothing happened. It went just like any other day. Later on, I see my neighbor being brought on someone else’s 4x4truck. Her tires didn’t make it back home. I haven’t checked them out but for sure they’re not Nokian.
