My Prius has left the building...

A few thousand miles shy of 100k, we decided to put the Prius out to pasture.

The car served us well, but it was time to move on. Our two oldest sons have ceased being "little people" and the back seat was getting crowded with our daughter's booster seat. The car has a history, even more so since I had been writing about the tires it rode on. I can only describe the WRG3 as a good pair of boots. I never got stuck, never landed in a ditch, or spun out. They served me well and forever changed my perception of snow tires (without the hassle of having to take them off!).

I had one more good year left from what I could gauge. The wear number before the snowflake was getting worn. There is no doubt they would have survived another winter. If it's possible to feel giddy about rubber and steel belts and some earth friendly oils, then count me in. The new car has brand "M" tires. I have to put some thought into what will happen to those...

Good luck all until I figure some things out...
