I've got to admit it's getting better(Better)
A little better all the time (It can't get no worse)
I have to admit it's getting better (Better)
It's getting better
Since you've been mine (Beatles)
Anyone living on the East Coast over the past week has seen some nasty weather. By the looks of it, we shall be rewarded with 50+ degree weather this weekend. The downside will be the ice that forms at dusk and into the night. In a freaky way, I am into all of this stuff because of these tires!
I had read some negative comments about how the Prius handled in the snow. It didn't worry me too much. All of my cars demonstrated demonic behavior in the snow. What's new? Through this weeks snow (5+ inches) and slush, one thing was noticeable and welcome - no fish tailing. Neighborhood roads are often the last ones to be plowed, and the ones around my house and workplace are no different. Forward motion through this perilous precipitation results in an outer body experience. Traction control and the WRG3 makes for an unstoppable combination. Slithering around a tightly coiled back country road can be daunting. Am I going to fast? Will the car "snow plow" as I navigate the hairpin? Will the car spin on it's front tires, and do a 180? Nope. The back wheels always follow the front. Again, always exercising caution, I have tried to kick it out. I can't.
If you are like me, you are looking for snow tires a bit late. Better late than never. I am a believer in these tires.
