Dry pavement

Driving to and from Sugarbush this weekend I got to see firsthand how the Hakkas performed on dry pavement. I would expect them to make a bit of road noise since they are winter tyres but they don't; they are quiet. When I say "they," I am referring to the Hakkapeliitta R2 SUVs that adorn my Toyota Landcruiser. The previous week it began to snow just as we were leaving Sugarbush making the roads greasy with the first trace of snow. The first hour or so of snow creates the most dangerous driving conditions as the snow mixes with oil and other road residue. The Hakkas cut through the initial layer and kept us firmly fixed to the asphalt. It is difficult to express how impressed I am with these Hakkapeliittas.
