Last week I drove around 160 Km on the highway at 110 km/h. Weather has been pretty stable on the last days with no snowfalls around -15 C so the road is dry and generally clean. I knew R2 SUV performance on these conditions should be excellent so I was focused on the sound. I was constantly turning off the music for periods of time and couldn’t really hear any louder noise and I should say I’m very noise sensitive. This is my first experience with winter tires as in Victoria BC, where I come from, there’s no snow. People usually tell me winter tires are noisier but with the Hakkas R2 SUV I don’t agree with that statement. I drove around 4 hours with great grip and no noisy conditions at all.
